Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition is a multiplayer fighting game that utilizes the advanced capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS to place the same console gaming experience found in Super Street Fighter IV in the hands of handheld gamers. The game utilizes the 3DS wireless functionality to allow for seamless multiplayer action, as well as a crystal clear spectator mode and StreetPass functionality that automatically shares information with other 3DS owners you pass and allows for automatic battles in Figurine Mode. New to the franchise is the Figurine Mode, which utilizes the Street Pass feature to add a collectible meta-game, and the 3D over-the-shoulder camera option that takes fighting to new depths. And for those new to the franchise, a simple mode has been added allowing players to pull off challenging moves with a single touch of the screen.
